10:41 PM Cottonwood Police Call For Back Up Units To Step It Up - Subject Has A Gun

COTTONWOOD:   10:41 PM  Did not catch the original call but the Cottonwood Police Officer was on a call on Accorn Valley Road.


The officer, excited on the radio, advised backup units to step it up the subject was armed with a gun.


Houston County Sheriff Deputies started rolling that way. Cottonwood Rescue responded near that location to stand by near the location of the Cottonwood Officer.


Before Houston County Sheriff Deputies arrived the Cottonwood Officer came over the radio all was okay and responding units could downgrade response.
