DOTHAN:   1:02 AM   Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Fire Engines to 102 Liberty Court to reports of a structure fire.


Dothan Fire Engine 5 ( Eastside ) was the first engine on the scene. Engine 5 reported a single story residence and nothing visible.


Dothan Engine 5 instructed all units on the scene to go to Level 1 Staging. This means all units stand by in position and near water supply until the fire is investigated to determine plan of action.


Dothan Engine 5 reported there was smoke in the bedroom. After investigation the source of the smoke was found and it was a baby bed against a heater.


All but one fire engine in addition to Engine 5 were returned to service.


Dothan Fire Engine 5 requested a Fire Marshall be dispatched to the fire location.
