Deputies had information persons riding four wheelers were in the area riding four wheelers and possibly responsible for the shots fired. Sheriff Deputies were riding the area looking for the four wheelers.
Sheriff Department Sergeant Bradly Shaw came up on a four wheeler that had flipped several times and rolled. Just down the road from wrecked four wheeler a Houston County Sheriff Reserve Deputy ( Certified Reserve Deputy ) came in contact with the male subject that was the driver of the four wheeler.
ALEA - Trooper Jason McAllister responded. The officers were searching for a female passenger on the four wheeler. The Law Enforcement Officers feared she might be injured. The male subject was not injured.
ALEA Trooper McAllister spotted the female on a dirt road near the location where the wrecked four wheeler was found. The ALEA Trooper escorted the female to the location where the Deputies were located. The female had injuries but not serious injuries.
At 11:09 Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched Columbia Rescue to the location of the Deputies on Wallace Buie Road, non emergency, to check the female passenger of the four wheeler.
At this time it is unknown what charges are being made against the four wheeler operators, if any.
The Law Enforcement Officers are working to put the puzzle together.
