11:13 AM Early Morning Domestic Resulted In Major Stab Wound To Male

DALE COUNTY: 03:35 AM Ozark-Dale County 911 dispatched Dale County Sheriff Deputies to County Road 46 Midland City to a domestic dispute with an edged weapon assault.
The persons reporting to Ozark-Dale County 911 reported the male subject kicked the female and the female possibly stabbed the male subject in the leg. There was a tremendous amount of yelling.
At 3:35 AM in the morning Dale County Sheriff Chief Deputy Mason Bynum responded. When Chief Bynum arrived he reported a major stab wound to the male subject's left leg.
The male subject who received the stab would was transported to a hospital by ambulance.
Dale County Sheriff Deputies investigated. Following the investigation the female subject was arrested for Domestic Violence in the second degree and transported to the Dale County Jail. Arrested was white female Shelbie Blackmon.
At this time it is unknown if the male subject will be arrested or his condition. Since the Chief Deputy was up and responding to calls at 3:35 AM not going to call and bother him to see.
Dale County Sheriff Deputies are in charge of the investigation.
