DOTHAN: 11:20 AM. Dothan 911 dispatched a motor vehicle accident on November 17, 2022 ( Thursday ) in the 2500 block of West Main Street.
The reports to Dothan 911 a gray Nissan Maxima verses a pole.
Dothan Fire Engine Companies responded. On the arrival of Dothan Fire and Dothan Police it was reported heavy damage.
At least one person was transported to a Dothan Hospital by Pilcher Ambulance and Dothan Fire, trauma alert, to a Dothan hospital.
There was one person who their life was claimed and died on the scene.
Dothan Police specialized traffic investigation unit responded to conduct a detailed investigation. Houston County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene to investigate the death.
The body was sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for a post mortem examination by the State of Alabama Pathologist to determine the cause of death. The accident was possibly caused by a medical issue on the driver.
Dothan Police CRASH TEam is in charge of the accident investigation.
