DOTHAN:    11:29 PM   D0than 911 dispatched a burglary in progress in the 300 block of Webb Road. A subject is reported climbing in or attempting to climb inside a window.

Houston County Sheriff Deputy Samantah Arias was on the scene within seconds of the call being dispatched along with Dothan Police Patrol units.

The officers downgraded from emergency radio traffic within minutes of arriving on the scene.

From that it is assumed the call is not a burglary in progress but will probably be suspicious circumstances.

BUT NEVER HESITATE to call if you think someone is breaking in. Better safe then sorry. The men and women in uniform had rather respond and find nothing then not respond and citizens be injured or killed.

The men and women in uniform are on duty to serve and protect.

WHILE SOME OF THE PUBLIC are motor mouth jerks who are few but the loudest, if those who support law enforcement and what they do would get a backbone and spine and become vocal in support of the law enforcement then perhaps some things would get under control.

But when WE allow a FEW who have loud mouths to dictate what law enforcement can and can not do, we should be ashamed of ourselves.

THANKS to the men and women who just responded, quick and swift to make sure the resident was safe and protected. While the call was not as dispatched, they quickly and swiftly placed their life on the line to protect others.
