KINSEY:    Someone in the Town of Kinsey has apparently LIED to Charles Ward, Colonel of the Trooper Division of Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Recently members of the Kinsey Town Council voted, any employee living outside 10 miles of the city limits of Kinsey were not allowed to drive their Town of Kinsey issued vehicle home.

Kinsey Mayor Charles Douglas was defeated in the primary election as Mayor. There is a October 6 run off between former Kinsey Mayor Jason Reneau and Anthony White.

This past week Kinsey Mayor Charles Douglas went further then the policy passed by the Kinsey Town Council. Mayor Douglas issued a order that everyone who is issued a Town of Kinsey vehicle was directed to park the vehicles at Kinsey Police Department and not drive them home.

Following the order RSN pointed out to Kinsey Mayor Charles Douglas a issue that he forgot. Once a municipality begins a police department they are responsible for investigating all motor vehicle accidents in the municipality.

Mayor Charles Douglas left no police officer available to investigate accidents.

Confirmed by ALEA Colonel Charles Ward, he was contacted by a Town of Kinsey official asking the ALEA - Troopers to investigate accidents which occurred when no Kinsey Police Officer was on duty. Colonel Ward agreed to do so.

As we understand, Kinsey Town Council Member Joe Watson, a retired Houston County Sheriff Deputy, contacted ALEA Colonel Charles Ward. Apparently Councilman Watson is alleged to have told the ALEA Colonel they were making changes in the Kinsey Police Department and had no officers to work accidents when the Kinsey officers were off duty.

THAT IS A LIE

On Saturday night RSN was traveling from Headland. We took time to go to the Kinsey Police Officers home and check the mileage.

Kinsey Police Officer Robert Jones lives 8/10 of one ( 1 ) mile from the Kinsey Town Limits, or two minutes from the Kinsey Town Limits.

Kinsey Police Officer Robert Jones lives 2.7 miles from the Kinsey Police Department, or six ( 6 ) minutes from the Kinsey Police Department.

We have heard multiple times Kinsey Police Officer Robert Jones return to service to handle a burglary in progress. We have heard Kinsey Police Officer Robert Jones respond to Kinsey Fire Department to grab a fire truck to respond to emergencies when the fire department needed assistance. When he was off duty.

It is Kinsey Mayor Charles Douglas who has created a situation contrary to what the council members of the Town of Kinsey voted to do. Mayor Douglas reacted because he got mad that Acting Police Chief Willie Powell can not drive his Town of Kinsey issued vehicle home. But Acting Kinsey Police Chief Willie Powell resides in Daleville.

TO ALEA COLONEL CHARLES WARD apparently Councilman Joe Watson led you astray in the true and correct reasons of requesting ALEA - Troopers investigate accidents which occur within the corporate city limits of Kinsey. There is a officer available who will respond off duty. And even if he has to respond on his own personal vehicle because Kinsey Mayor Charles Douglas lost his pacifier and is not using sound and wise judgment in his decisions.

ALEA COLONEL CHARLES WARD please do not take the lies you were told and think everyone is a liar in Kinsey. Certain ones have political agenda's and not out for the best interest of the citizens of Kinsey.
