DOTHAN: 11:40 AM Dothan Fire has arrived on the scene of a structure fire at 101 Sixth Avenue. The caller said no flames visible only smoke inside.
On the arrival of the first fire engine they reported a single story residence, no flames visible.
All incoming fire engines were instructed to go to LEVEL 1 Staging, which means wait in certain positions like at a fire hydrant ready to connect and work should things change.
The fireman quickly located the source of the smoke, reported no fire, and instructed all fire engines to return to service.
