12:11 pm Dale County High School Was On Lockdown - Not Anymore

MIDLAND CITY:     This morning school officials at Dale County High School and Midland City Police Department placed Dale County High School on lockdown.


The lockdown had nothing to do with the school at all.


Midland City Police were in a foot chase of a person near the school. Again, nothing to do with the school but was locked down for precaution.


A lot of times the schools get locked down because of situations law enforcement encounter near  a school. The incident has nothing to do with the school but they lock the school down in an abundance of caution.


ALL CHIDLREN SAFE. Incident over.
