12:24 AM. Structure Fire On Boxwood

DOTHAN:    12:24 AM.  Dothan 911 dispatched a structure fire on Boxwood off Stonewood. Reports are flames visible in the bathroom but can not be seen on the outside.


Dothan Fire Batallion Chief Watson instructed the first Engine in to make interior entry and secondary unit prepare to lay a water supply line in.


Dothan Fire Engine 3, Westgate, was the first unit to arrive. Dothan Fire Engine 1, Central, is standing by at a fire hydrant.


Dothan Fire Engine 3 arrived at 12:26 AM, and reported at 12:28 AM a small vent fan was on fire, water on fire. They checked to make sure no extensions. At 12:29 AM Engine 3 reported they could handle and all units could return to service.


The call was created at 12:20 AM, first unit on scene at 12:26 AM and under control at 12:29 AM.


A ventilation fan is set up at the front door to get the smoke from inside the residence.
