ASHFORD: At 12:27 AM Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched a structure fire on Bruner Pond Road northeast of Ashford. When dispatched the reports were multiple trailer structures were on fire.
Responding to the fire, Ashford Fire, Cowarts Fire, Ashford EMS, Pansey Fire, Houston County Sheriff Department and Ashford Police Department.
On the arrival of Ashford Fire Chief Jimmy Posey the structure was fully engulfed. Chief Posey requested Pansey Fire bring their water tanker. Posey also requested Cowarts use their brush truck to contain the grass fire.
Wiregrass Electric was requested to respond when Chief Posey arrived. Their was investigation into if the trailer had power. Prior to Wiregrass Electric arrival believed the residence has no power.
