DOTHAN:    12:33 PM      A disorderly persons call escalated rapidly on Seeba Drive. The call then deescalated as rapidly as it started.

Preliminary information caused Dothan Police and Houston County Sheriff Department to rapidly surround the residence, Dothan Fire and Pilcher Ambulance to stage close.

As the preliminary information was flowing Dothan Police SRT was getting notified to deploy. A hostage negotiator was being deployed. The Command Staff, Captain Will Glover, Captain Bubba Ott, Captain Rachael David and Police Chief Will Benny were preparing to deploy.

As the puzzle was being developed and Dothan Police was getting more information it was determined the call was not as originally appeared and units were called off.

All units returned to service, SRT was cancelled as was the negotiator as was the Captain's  and Chief Will Benny.

Law Enforcement has to prepare for the worse until found otherwise. All safety precautions have to be taken until all of the "facts" are known.
