ALFORD:    12:42 PM.  Emergency Officials with Fire - EMS - Jackson County Sheriff Deputies and FHP are on the scene of a motor vehicle crash.


The scene is on Highway 231 in Alford in front of the Alford Post Office. One person is dead on the scene.


There are road detours in place and the road travel will be affected for several hours and the investigation continues.


FHP is in charge of the investigation.
