DALE COUNTY:   12:30 PM     Midland City Police Chief Jimmy Singleton, Dale County Sheriff Criminal Investigators, Dale County Coroner Woodie Hildbolt and Deputy Coroner John Cauley are on the scene of a death.

The officials are on the scene of a residence on New Hope Road at Midland City. A white female was found deceased on the front porch of a residential structure.

Dale County Coroner Woodie Hildbolt and Midland City Police Chief Jimmy Singleton requested a Dale County Sheriff Criminal Investigator be dispatched. Coroner Holdbolt, Deputy Coroner John Cauley and Midland City Police Chief Jimmy Singleton placed crime scene tape up around the residence.

Dale County Sheriff Criminal Investigators are on the scene.

At this the cause of death is unknown. This could be a natural death. However Coroner Hildbolt wanted the make sure the cause as worked as a criminal case, backwards, to make sure all bases are covered pending a final determination of the exact cause of death.

Coroner Hildbolt and 33rd Judicial Circuit District Attorney Kirke Adams has requested the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.

AT THIS TIME, 

no one is saying the death is caused by foul play. Coroner Hildbolt said had rather be on the side of caution.

Dale County Sheriff Criminal Investigators are on the scene at this time.
