HOUSTON COUNTY: At 1:43 PM... Multiple Fire units from Columbia, Webb and Kinsey responded to a report of A structure fire at 502 West Church Street. When Columbia Police arrived first on scene they advised fully involved and spreading to another nearby structure. Fire units arrived and knocked down the fire on the nearby home and on the primary structure. 


Ashford Rescue responded to stand by along with Dothan Houston County Emergency Management. Firefighters gave an all clear on the structure. 


Columbia Police kept traffic flowing while keeping it off the firefighters and fire hoses. The cause of the fire is not yet known but the home was a total loss.
