DOTHAN: 1:47 PM Dothan 911 dispatched structure fire at 1101 Augutha Drive. The person reporting to 911 reported fire in the kitchen.
Dispatched at 1:45 pm, Dothan Fire Engine 2, Lakewood, was on the scene. The Brief Incident Report given by Engine 2, a single family residence, light smoke visible.
Take notice, a three minute response from dispatch until on the scene.
Engine 2 reported they were taking a hose in and doing a quick offensive attack.
By 1:51 PM water was on the fire. By 1:53 PM ventilation was being set up. Battalion Chief Stephen Messer directed fireman to check for extensions as soon as possible.
Dothan Fire still on the scene.
Dothan Police and Pilcher Ambulance on the scene.
1:56 PM. All clear on primary search of anyone inside the residence.
