1:50 AM STOP - STOP - ALL DOTHAN HOUSING AUTHORITY FUNDING

DOTHAN:     1:50 AM    Dothan Police were investigating a firearm assault at Henry Green Apartments in Dothan. Two people were shot.


During the course of the investigation Dothan Police requested management of Dothan Housing Authority to respond to open the door to a "vacant" apartment.


At the time of contact Dothan 911 advised the Police units they would be enroute but had 30 minutes in which to arrive.


After 30 minutes Dothan 911 advised Dothan Police the representative called and would not be responding and the police could kick the door in if needed.


THATS RIGHT. The Dothan Housing Authority could not cooperate with Dothan Police on a vacant residence. Had zero concerns on the price of the door, to sorry to get out of bed and respond. And might add uncooperative with law enforcement. 


Perhaps when  someone whips the management's ass the police should take the same approach. Do not respond and wait 30 minutes to let them know they are not.


According to the Dothan Housing Authority web site those in charge, apparently with plenty of money and a lazy staff are:
