SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR CENTRAL HOUSTON COUNTY UNTIL 215 
PM CDT... 
 
At 148 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over 
Cowarts, or 7 miles east of Dothan, moving south at 10 mph. 
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm. A 43 mph 
gust was measured at the Dothan Technology Center WeatherSTEM site. 
Locations impacted include... 
Cottonwood, Dothan, Taylor, Kinsey, Ashford, Cowarts, Webb, Rehobeth, 
Avon, Madrid, Memphis, Grangeburg, Sigma, Enon, Wilson Mill, Barber, 
Merritts Crossroads, Keytons, Smyrna and Pearce.
