DOTHAN: Rehobeth Fire and Rehobeth Rescue responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident in the 7900 block US 231.
The accident occurred in front of Sadie's Flea Market when one vehicle was stopping to turn in and was rear-ended.
Five people were transported to the hospital by ambulance. Cottonwood Rescue responded to mutual aid for Rehobeth due to five patients.
The area has one lane blocked until it can be cleaned up. The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers.
