KINSEY:     Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched deputies to Bella Trace Apartments in Kinsey where a male and female could be heard in an argument.


Houston County 911 reported as Houston County Sheriff Deputies were responding they could hear screaming from the residence.


Prior to deputies arrival an edged weapon assault was reported.


Deputies found a subject with a edged weapon assault. Shortly after Houston County Sheriff Patrol Commander Lt. Robert Reichert arrived he downgraded backup units from emergency response.


Headland EMS responded to the scene to treat the patient. Sheriff Lt. Reichert called for a Sheriff Criminal Investigator to respond.


Headland EMS at 2:03 AM departed the scene enroute to Southeast Health with the patient. The victim of the edged weapon assault is a black male.
