OZARK - DALE COUNTY:     1:14 PM  Dale County Sheriff Deputies were in pursuit about 1:14 PM of a black KIA Forte. 


The chase headed toward Skipperville Road. The chase then went to South Union and East College Street.


The chase made it's way to Mary McClendon to where it wrecked. There were no injuries but the driver bailed from the vehicle and decided to try his athletic ability to outrun the Dale County Sheriff Deputies and Ozark Police Officers on foot.


The suspect was reported was wearing  a black shirt, red pants amd red hat and was running down Mary McClendon Road.


In a short period of time the suspect's athletic ability was not as good as that of Dale County Sheriff Department and Ozark Police. The suspect was apprehended.


Law Enforcement Officers on duty requested a ambulance be dispatched. The suspect is reported to have swallowed pills and his tummy was hurting him.


After being checked out, Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson, being the kind man he is, saved a room for him located at 124 Adams Street in Ozark. In fact, it has a 4.3 rating on Google. That indicates Sheriff Wally Olson is a good Innkeeper.
