DOTHAN:     Dothan Police were quick on the scene of Dothan High School Tech Center this morning were allegations of an adult assaulting a student.


This has been classified as a road rage incident.


Preliminary information the incident began on Westgate Parkway. The adult followed the student on campus of Dothan High School Tech Center. The adult, age 63,, began kicking the car of the student when the student informed the adult he was calling the school officials.


A brief altercation took place between the student and the adult after the student said he was calling school officials.


Dothan Police searched the adults vehicle. THERE WAS NO WEAPON DISPLAYED but a firearm was found in the trunk of the vehicle.


Dothan Police arrested the adult for trespassing and took possession of the firearm. The car was towed.
