DALE COUNTY: Fire and EMS responded to a report of a helicopter crash at Hooper Field. The pilot was air lifted to a Dothan Hospital. First the pilot was entrapped but was freed.

The scene is at Hooper Field on Andrews Avenue in Ozark. There were several emergency vehicles on the scene and a medical helicopter took off.
The MP Officers were telling me that pictures could not be taken. However we were on the public roadway.
One text report received said it was a hard landing.
The crash was on the landing strip in Ozark.
