COLUMBIA:    1:43 pm    Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched emergency units to 202 Anleca Drive in Columbia to an edged weapon assault.


Columbia Rescue was dispatched but instructed to stage until law enforcement arrived and declared the scene safe.


Columbia Police and multiple Houston County Sheriff Deputies responded.


On arrival of law enforcement the call was downgraded to a domestic situation.


Columbia Police placed both the male and female in custody.
