3:53 AM... Structure Fire on South Broadway Ave in Avon

HOUSTON COUNTY: Multiple Fire units from Cowarts and Ashford responded to a report of a structure fire at 425 Broadway Ave. The first unit on scene advised flames visible from the back of the mobile home.
Deputies arrived on scene first and Lt. Reichart used a water hose on the fire until firefighters arrived. Lt. Reichart kept the fire from spreading.
Houston County Sheriff’s Office responded along with an ambulance from Ashford Rescue. The road the fire is located on is closed due to emergency equipment and supply line blocking the road.
