DOTHAN - Dothan PD officer was out with a subject who was on a bike near Lena St when the suspect took off on foot. The office gave chase and was able to take the subject to the ground. 


Multiple please officers were dispatched to the area to assist when the suspect pulled a knife and the officer was able to pull his Tazer. Suspect was held at Tazer point until other officers were able to arrive and assist take him into custody. 


No Tazer was deployed or injuries noted. Suspect will be taken to Dothan City Jail.
