HOUSTON COUNTY: Madrid Fire, Rehobeth  Fire and Rehobeth Rescue responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident at US 231 and Stateline Road.  One person was injured and transported to the hospital by ambulance. 


This was a hit and run, the suspect vehicle was a dark colored SUV that rear ended the other vehicle and then turned around fled back across the Florida line.  


The accident is under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers.
