DOTHAN: Last evening Dothan Fire Engine 9 went to from ordering dinner at Jack’s to lifesaving measures in seconds.
Across the street from Jack’s Restaurant was a structure fire. Within a
minute the fire, which was engulfed and way to hot for safety, the fireman were inside searching for two victim’s.
The fireman were able to locate the two victims and rapid began medical intervention and rapidly transported to a Dotha Hospital.
the two victims were more overcome with smoke then burns.
The hospital treated the victims.
It is with said news that I announce the female victim
passed away this afternoon.
The husband is fighting for his life.
The couple, as I understand we’re in their 90’s and been married for
70 plus years.
The Dothan Fire Department and other other emergency partners did all they could to save their lives.
