ASHFORD: At 5:53 PM Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched emergency units to Pleasant Grove Road in Ashford in reference to a firearm assault.
As emergency units were responding Houston County Sheriff 911 upgraded information to a possible accidental firearm injury.
Responding to the scene, Ashford Police, Houston County Sheriff Deputies, and Ashford EMS.
On arrival of Ashford Police all units were downgraded from emergency that all was under control. The firearm injury was accidental and to the ear.
Ashford EMS transported the victim emergency to Southeast Health.
