HOUSTON COUNTY: Houston County 911 Dispatched Deputies to a person down call at US 231 and Hwy 109. A Dothan Police officer heading home after shift came up on the vehicle and got out with the man.


Deputies arrived on scene and the subject decided to take off up Eddins Road. Stop sticks were deployed and the vehicle kept rolling.


The driver struck another vehicle at the intersection but no injuries were reported. Deputies have the subject stopped back at the intersection of US 231 and Eddins road. The deputies have the subject at gun point. Deputies now the subject in custody and he will be transported to the Houston County Jail.
