6:00 AM... Houston County Sheriff’s Deputies in Pursuit

HOUSTON COUNTY: This morning Deputies with the Houston County Sheriff's Office attended to stop a vehicle when the driver took off.
Deputies gave chase and ended up on Henry County 45 and Henry County 32 where the driver bailed.
At this time we do not know why the deputies were trying to stop the vehicle.
We do know that the black male driver is on foot in the area and Houston County Sheriff's K-9s are on the way to track the subject.
UPDATED
A firearm assault victim arrived by private auto last evening at Southrast Health. Reports are it occurred somewhere in Houston Coubty.
The chase was of the suspects in the shooting.
The chase ended in Henry County. A perimeter has been established on County Road 46 to Highway 431.
