6:49 PM... Motor Vehicle Accident on U S 231 at Oats Road

HOUSTON COUNTY: Madrid Fire and Rehobeth Rescue responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on U S 231 at Oats Road. Reports are the driver was unresponsive possible medical issue. Dothan Fire was mutual aided for ALS intercept. The driver was transported by ambulance to the hospital.


Thanks to the quick action taken by the Rehobeth EMS crew and Dothan Fire-medics the driver was somewhat stable by the time they arrived at the hospital.


Houston County Sheriff’s Office also responded. The area where the crash occurred is closed until it can be cleaned up. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers.
