DOTHAN: Multiple Fire engines, Dothan Police and Pilcher's responded to a report of a porch fire at Lafayette and Fifth. First unit on the scene was Battalion Chief Webb who advises this was a working with the fire on the porch.
Engine 1 arrived and quickly pulled a jump line and put water on the fire. The was knocked down and search was done to make sure no one was inside. the house was vacant so Chief Webb requested a fire Marshall respond.
Engines 4 and 5 were both released along with Pilcher's. The intersection is closed due to fire equipment blocking the road.
