DOTHAN: 7:20 PM. Dothan 911 dispatched a structure fire to Barstone Apartments on Honeysuckle. Reports to the 911 Center flames visible from the stove.
Dispatched at 7:16 PM the first Dothan Fire Engine was on the scene at 7:20 PM. The first engine on the scene was Engine 3 ( Westgate ).
On the arrival Engine 3 reported light smoke visible.
By 7:21 PM Dothan Fire Engine 3 reported “under control”, isolated to the cabinets over the stove. Engine 3 reported all other units could return to service.
FIRE ALARM HOUSTON COUNTY JAIL.
At 7:23 PM Dothan 911 dispatched fire engines to Houston County Jail 901 East Main Street to reports of fire alarm at Houston County Jail.
At 7:25 PM Dothan 911 reported the Houston County Jail has reported a broken sprinkler head. At that report Batallion Chief Stephen Messer downgraded units responding to non emergency and sent only two units.
At 7:26 PM Dothan Fire Truck 1 ( Central ) was on the scene of the Houston County Jail. They confirmed it was a busted sprinkler head and all responding units were cancelled an returned to service.

First potential major fire call at 7:16 PM which was an apartment unit in a multi family structure, apartment complex.
In 4 minutes the first fire engine was on the scene, and within 1 minute the situation was summed up and units put back in service.
Two minutes later a fire alarm at the Houston County Jail. A multi person structure fire alarm where peopel are confined. Within three minutes of dispatched fire engines were on the scene, the situation summed up and units returned to service.
So a matter of 10 minutes reports and response of two potential major fire possibilities. And in 10 minutes the call was received, dispatched, fire engines on the scene, situation summed up and fire units back in service.
That is what you call CLICKING ON ALL CYLINDERS from the 911 Center to the fireman.
