HOUSTON COUNTY: Cowarts and Ashford Fire responded to a report of a shed fire on US 84 in Avon near Mims Trailer Park. When units arrived on scene they could not locate anything. After a brief search of the area they did locate a fire pit where someone was burning leaves that produced the smoke the caller saw. After confirming no structure fire all Cowarts and Ashford Fire units returned to service. 


Ashford police and Houston County Sheriff’s Deputies also responded as well as an ambulance from Ashford rescue.
