HOUSTON COUNTY - DALE COUNTY - OZARK:    6:53 PM   Houston County Sheriff 911 received a call of a rolling domestic violence situation. The information received was a male subject was holding a female subject hostage.


Additional information received by Houston County 911 the make subject had made the statement if law enforcement stopped them that he would hurt the female.


A BOLO ( Be On Look Out ) was immediate broadcast to surrounding agencies.


The vehicle was a green ECHO vehicle last seen leaving Dothan on Highway 231 towards Troy University and Dale County.


Multiple Houston County Sheriff Deputies responded on HIghway 231 attempting to overtake the vehicle. The BOLO was passed to Midland City Police, Ozark Police, Dale County Sheriff Department, ALEA - Troopers.


A Ozark Police Patrolman spotted the vehicle and made a felony traffic stop on Highway 231 and Floyd Drive. This is north of Gilland and south of Beasley Honda.


Multiple law enforcement agencies, Ozark Police, Dale County Sheriff Deputies, Houston County Sheriff Deputies, ALEA - SBI Agents were on the traffic stop.


Pilcher Ambulance was on the scene and checked the female patient stating that Ozark Fire was  not available to they checked the female. Ozark Fire - EMS came up later after Pilcher Ambulance left the scene.


No one was trasnsported for medical care.


After investigation and extensive questioning the parties were separated. The female left on the vehicle and the male left with a officer carrying him to different location. No one was arrested and the female had no injuries nor did the male subject.


At about 7:47 PM Officers were leaving the scene.


Ozark Police Department made the official Incident/Offense Report of this incident.
