DOTHAN - HOUSTON COUNTY:     07:52 AM   Southeast Health, formally known as Southeast Alabama Medical Center, is on CCU & Med Surge with Emergency Department Saturation.


This is a form of diversion. RSN knows CCU is critical care unit. No idea what Med Surge is and ED means Emergency Department.


Saturation - guess means full.


Yesterday Columbia Rescue responded to a student which overheated. While Columbia had a Paramedic on board they called for Dothan Fire to intercept because more Advanced Life Support assistance was needed. Dothan Fire intercepted the ambulance from Columbia on Highway 52.


When Columbia Ambulance reported to the Sheriff 911 Center the communications officer reported Southeast Health was on diversion. Columbia Ambulance said thank you for the information but Columbia Ambulance is proceeding as planned to Southeast Health.
