7:54 PM Shooting Suspect At Hotel Surrenders To Dothan Police

DOTHAN:    7:54 PM     The shooting suspect from earlier this morning has turned himself over to Dothan Police Investigator Keith Cook.


The suspect voluntarily surrendered himself to the custody of Investigator Cook. He also surrendered the weapon to Investigator Cook.


The suspect is identified as Tyshawn Williams Fearrington. He has no criminal history that we have found of significance. 


Last evening appears to be a domestic related incident where it escalated to the suspect firing a weapon and striking the female victim.


The victim is expected to be released from the hospital today or Monday. The injuries are reported to be non life threatening.
