DOTHAN: 08:13 AM Dothan 911 dispatched a motor vehicle accident with injuries at Hodgesville Road and Ross Clark Circle. At the time of dispatch RSN was at Highway 231 South and Ross Clark Circle and could see smoke in the air.

Houston County Sheriff Lieutenant James Lee came up on the accident. He reported the driver of the car had his foot on the accelator, stuck, and was having an apparent seizure.

Houston County Sheriff Lt. Lee was able to turn the car off.

Dothan Fire Engine 4 ( Southside ) and Pilcher Ambulance along with Dothan Police responded. Several Houston County Sheriff Deputies responded.

A witness said the vehicle left McDonald's, cross through traffic and then drove erratically, striking the vehicle and had the gas pedal floored.

Only the person having the seizure was injured. Subject was transported to Southeast Health by Pilcher Ambulance.

Dothan Police is in charge of the investigation.
