DOTHAN: At 6:16 PM Dothan 911 dispatched a motor vehicle accident with injuries at Hodgesville Road and Ross Clark Circle.
Dothan Police, Dothan Fire, Pilcher ambulance responded to the two vehicle accident with injuries. Two patients were complaining of head pain. The injuries were not life threatening. Dothan Police investigated the accident.
Then nine minutes after this wreck was dispatched Dothan 911 dispatched a structure fire at 401 West Inez Road, Tanglewood Apartments. The time of this call was 6:25 PM.
The dispatched call was smoke in the apartment from a previous fire in the bathroom.
Tanglewood Apartments is a multi story, multi family residential apartment complex. Multiple Dothan Fire units, Dothan Police and Pilcher Ambulance units responded.
It was quickly determined by the first arriving units not an active structure fire. The second arriving units were told to stage ready to deploy fire hoses but wait until word was given. Shortly after all units were returned to service.
A lot of sirens and emergency units were rolling on the Southside within a nine minute period. All handled without a Gucci.
