8:21 PM... Structure Fire at North Lena and Burdeshaw

DOTHAN:  Multiple Dothan Fire units responded to a report of a structure fire at North Lena and Burdeshaw. The first unit on scene advised flames visible from the front porch. Battalion Chief Gaster as command.


The fire appears to have been contained to the front porch ad not the inside of the structure. Command has requested PD and fire marshal. All other responding units have been told to stage at their engines.  


Engine was able to arrived on scene and get control of the fire before it could spread to the house.


Dothan Police responded along with an ambulance. The road the fire is located on is closed due to emergency equipment blocking the road.


This is the second fire like this reported in this area in the last week. The first one destroyed a home on North Alice.
