8:40 AM... Multiple Structure Fire on Thorne Road in Geneva County

GENEVA COUNTY: This morning around 7:06 AM.. Multiple fire units from Hartford, Slocomb and Fadette responded to a report of a structure fire in the 800 block of Thorne Road just South of Hartford.
When units arrived they found multiple chicken houses on fire. Hartford Fire requested water tankers from Esto and Black fire Departments.
Firefighters fought the fires but two of the houses were already gone and the roof of another was collapsing.
Geneva County Sheriff's Office and Hartford Rescue are also on scene. The cause of the fire is not known but is under investigation.
