8:40 PM Pursuit Of Motorcycle Has Ended In Crash Of Motorcycle

GENEVA COUNTY:    8:24 PM   Emergency units are on the scene of a serious/critical injury motorcycle accident.

The accident location is in the 7400 block of North State Highway 123 North near Geneva/Houston County line.

The accident occurred when the one riding the motorcycle failed to yield to the blue lights and siren of the ALEA - Trooper and fled. A single vehicle accident the motorcycle has wrecked.

Geneva County 911 dispatched both Slocomb Rescue and Hartford Rescue dispatched to the scene. Haynes Ambulance aircraft has been dispatched to the scene and should be landing any second now ( 8:52 PM ). Reports are severe head injuries.

Slocomb EMS is in direct contact with Haynes Ambulance and has reported Haynes Ambulance is still 10 minutes out. Hartford Rescue is transporting the patient by Hartford Rescue.

The EMS crews were waiting on the aircraft because Southeast Health was on diversion. Southeast Health is the major trauma center.

At 8:59 PM Hartford has departed the scene and has a severe trauma patient on board.
