HOUSTON COUNTY:     On Monday I addressed the Houston County Commission asking for a resolution of support for law enforcement aggressive approach, legal approach, to stop or slow down the violence.


The murders that have happened, there is no way the Chief of Police or Sheriff could prevent those murders. How can you read someone’s mind that you do not know.


But what has to happen is the law enforcement is going to have to start a campaign


NOT IN MY COUNTY


The persons elected and appointed in leadership positions MUST SIGN an immediate resolution in full support of law enforcement aggressive legal enforcement actions to get some people’s attention, NOT IN MY COUNTY. ( Dothan is in Houston County ! ).


Hopefully the Houston County Commission will do a resolution in support of the Houston County Sheriff Department, Dothan Police Department, ALEA - Troopers, Kinsey Police Department, Webb Police Department, Columbia Police Department, Gordon Police Department, Ashford Police Department, Cottonwood Police Department and Taylor Police Department. Also the 911 staff of the City of Dothan and Houston County.


That as elected and appointed officials, each stand united and together behind the Chief of Police, Sheriff and ALEA Post Commander to plan and execute a zero tolerance and NOT IN MY COUNTY are you going to continue committing the violent acts or drugs.


If they fail to do so rest assured I will point them out.


WHY THE RESOLUTION? To let the men and women in law enforcement know without a doubt they are supported and stood behind. That when people complain, they will not listen to them because this aggressive legal enforcement is needed.


A politician will waffle in a minute.
