GENEVA COUNTY - BELLOWOOD: Geneva County 911 dispatched multiple Volunteer Fire Departments, Geneva County Emergency Management and Geneva County Sheriff Department to a late afternoon structure fire.
The fire was around 5 to 5:30 PM.
The fire was located at 3666 County Road 85 in the Bellwood Community of Geneva County.
Located inside the chicken houses were an estimated 15 to 16,000 birds.
Responding to the scene Bellwood Volunteer Fire Department, Hartford Volunteer Fire Department and Geneva Volunteer Fire Department.
The combined departments jumped on an aggressive attack plan onthe fire.
