DOTHAN:     9:30 PM   Last week there was a peaceful protest at Flowers Hospital concerning mandated testing for unvacinated employees.

The actions by Flowers Hospital expressed to me this week have those affected asking if Alabama Governor is a liar.

The President of the United States, Joe Biden, said he was mandating testing.

On September 10, 2021, following the President's speech, Alabama Goveronor Kay Ivey said...

" I am absolutely against a government mandate on the vaccine, which is why I signed the vaccine passport ban into law here in Alabama. This is not the role of the government".

"the state will fight back against the new federal COVID-19 vaccination mandates President Joe Biden announced Thursday, but Alabama democrats called her statements “hypocrisy.”

Ivey was part of a phone conference with other Republican governors across the country Friday and released a statement afterward in which she said the president “has overreached with these new mandates, and we’re united in fighting back.”

“This is a fight for businesses, our hardworking men and women, and our American liberties,” Ivey said.

BUT THIS WEEK AT FLOWERS HOSPITAL

According to sources within Flowers Hospital this Monday one employee who was unvacinated and refused the test was placed on unpaid leave of abscene. According to more reports within the hospital five more were placed on unpaid leave of abscene today.

According to sources within the hospital have stated by placing on unpaid leave prevents the employee from drawing unemployment. That measure makes the employee who does not have reserve funding to cave in and submit to the testing or find another job. 

The vacinated employees are not being subjected to the testing. The unvacinated claim they are being targeted. Some allege they are told their job will be advertised and after 90 days they are replaced.

RSN has twice reached out to Flowers Hospital today seeking confirmation and a statement. Both messages have not been responded to.

Flowers Hospital is owned by a Tennessee Corporation. The CEO and management have mandates which come from corporate of which they have no choice but to follow. We can not get confirmation if this is a local policy in place or a Tennessee Corportate policy being forced down the hill to Dothan.

However the actions are in direct conflict with Alabama Governor Kay Ivey's comments on September 10, 2021, and these actions began this week, October 18, 2021. The employees, we are told 400, have been blowing up the phone lines of Governor Ivey's office without response.

These affected employees are beginning to demand answers from local legislators because what Governor Ivey said on September 10 and the actions ongoing now are in direct conflict.

So Governor Ivey ... are you a liar in what you said on September 10? If not then how is this being done and what are you going to do about it?

Those in elected positions hate it when placed on the spot, but the evidence is clear:

A:  You read Governor Ivey's statement on September 10, 2021.

B:  You read the accusations of those employees of Flowers Hospital, October 18, 19, 2021.

C:  Where is Alabama Governor Ivey and what are you doing mam?

The inaction means, Alabama Governor Kay Ivey is a liar. Plain and Simple.

PEACEFUL PROTEST THIS THURSDAY 

On this Thursday there will be a peaceful protest against the testing and vaccine mandate. These are people in the medical field. They will assemble on the public right of way at Woodburn and West Main Street. It will begin at 4 PM until 5:30 PM.

Everyone is invited to attend. You might be prohibited from parking on Flowers Hospital property and might have to park down the road. The protest will not block the entrance/exit of Flowers Hospital.

The lack of response from Flowers Hospital places RSN in an awkward position because do not know their position. The information is coming from affected workforce of the hospital.

The same thing is ongoing at Lyster Army Hospital. Being on a military reservation they control entrance and exit. Reports are a Lt.Colonel is being held hostage and prevented from speaking to this issue who claims to have data about this testing.

The group alleges the tests can cause damage and their body is their body and the goverment has no business ditating what can and can not be done with their body. And the group maintains vacinated persons are dieing so there is no proof the vacination works.
