DOTHAN:    8:57 AM.     Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Police to a missing persons report in the 400 block of Sixth Avenue.


A 9 year old make was missing.


After a few minutes of the parents or Dothan Police being unable to locate the child a full search was initiated.


Dothan Police Patrol Supervisor called for the Dale County-Dothan Police Helicopter to be airborne and respond. Which it was going in the air.


Dothan Police Patrol Supervisor called for Dothan Fire Department to dispatch fire units to the area to assist in the search.


As all was being deployed the child was located, safe and unharmed, and returned to the parents.


But Dothan Police, who was the primary agency in charge. Was deploying resources for a coordinated search.
