A Eufaula man is in critical condition after a Thursday morning shooting.

At approximately 1135 Thursday morning, the Communications Division received a 911 call regarding a man being shot at a business at 518 South Eufaula Avenue.  Upon arrival, Patrol Officers located a 25 year old male subject with several gunshot wounds to his upper and lower body, and first aid was administered. 


The subject was taken to the Medical Center Barbour Emergency Department by Eufaula Rescue and subsequently transferred to a Columbus Georgia hospital in stable but critical condition.  No other persons were injured.


The Criminal Investigations Division has recovered evidence in the assault and an active investigation is ongoing.  Anyone that may have additional information regarding the shooting is urged to contact CID at 334-687-1200 or the Anonymous Tip Line at 334-687-7100.
