A Eufaula woman was Shot Overnight at a Residence on Lake Drive

EUFAULA AL: Patrol officers were dispatched to the sub 100 block of Lake Drive at 0234hrs Wednesday morning in reference to a female with a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, officers found a 49-year-old female with a gunshot wound to her lower body lying in the yard of the residence. Eufaula Fire and Rescue responded and transported the victim to a Dothan hospital. Her updated condition is unknown at this time. The incident, while still under investigation, appears to be domestic in nature.
