Great Story, Great Marriage....ROLL TIDE!

As the national championship game gets closer, media members, fans and others have been wondering what player, unit or coach will make a difference.
Najee Harris?
DeVonta Smith?
Justin Fields?
The defenses?
The coaches?
Some folks think it’s none of the above, but rather a woman who has been married to Coach Saban for 49 years.
When it comes to daily routine and game day habits, Coach Saban is a man of consistency.
Two Little Debbie’s, a cup of coffee and a glance at The Weather Channel in the morning.
A grilled chicken salad for lunch.
And on game days, a ritual that he has stuck with for years.
The Crimson Tide players and coaches will arrive at Hard Rock Stadium about 5 pm CT on Monday, whereupon Coach Saban will head directly to the field to take his habitual stroll.
The coach will walk 100 yards up the field and 100 yards back, and as he heads to a corner of the end zone, Miss Terry will greet him.
You see, for years, Coach Saban has looked forward to greeting his wife, and in many instances his mother Mary and his daughter Kristen in a corner of an end zone for hugs and good luck kisses prior to kickoff.
As someone who has been married for almost 37 years (to the same woman, no less... lol), I, like the coach, have come to know that the wife really runs the show.
So as America ponders who will be Monday night’s star, remember the person who has never run a crossing route in an organized game, never drawn up a nickel package and never chewed out a player for failing to execute.
As many believe, Terry Saban will play a very important part in keeping the Alabama coach focused and his game day ritual on target.
And as most of those folks will tell you, those pre-game hugs and fist bumps could just be the difference.
